Meet at the Northside Commons (W. North Ave. and Brighton) by the pond, on Monday, July 20, anytime between 12 pm and sundown. The opening ceremonies will occur immediately thereafter. For convergence attendees who can’t make it on the 20th, there will be someone at the meetup spot at 12 pm and again at 6 pm on the 21st. Attendees who are arriving even later and missing the inception of the fun should call 412-708-2583 when they arrive in Pittsburgh.

I was there. But I think that before I share any personal experiences, I want to hear what some “CrimethInc organizers” post about the event. There was a record made of everything that happened and everything that was said the night of the “eviction” so I’m sure they will post about it soon.
If you want to read bull shit lies and distortion you can read an account on anarchistnews.com “Smack a White Boy Part Two”, but to someone who was there, it’s fucking infuriating. All I will say is that some of the problems that the intruders had with crimethinc were extremely legitimate and need to be discussed. But to pull some cointel-pro shit like they did? More like “attackers” and “infiltrators”
