Excellent article. I've been itching to hear a more contemporary direct response to some of the old crimethinc criticisms and am pleased that this article was far more an exploration than a debate. I particularly liked the claim that "it’s not radical enough to frame our interests as workers in this society." In my experience, american schools and society teach people that their occupation IS their identity. I feel that this quote speaks to how difficult it is to look inside ourselves and really pay attention to those desires which have been squashed since we were kids.

Whether its colonization of the mind, wearing the armor of leviathan, or identifying with our abusers, thinking independently is not as easy as it seems. And yet with crimethinc, its only natural - so I'll have to try.

Thanks for the post b.
