Convergence Promo Materials Now Available

We’ve repurposed some of our favorite May Day propaganda to spread the word of the upcoming CrimethInc. Convergence (July 16-20, near Milwaukee, WI). Please, download the new materials and spread them widely—bring them to anarchist social centers and infoshops, on your music and speaking tours: invite everyone!

The convergence will be several days of self-organized workshops, presentations, performances, and other activities where everyone can be a presenter—so bring your own ideas, not to mention camping gear and whatever resources you can share. This year there will be a focus on coordinating for the demonstrations at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, as well as longer-range anarchist endeavors. Internationals will share experiences from overseas. Participation is free, of course, along with literature, food, child care, and camping space; the convergence will be a sober, consent-based space.

I might be attending this year’s Convergence. I’m from Lancaster County PA (thats 1 1/2 hrs from Baltimore<–mr fur).
I may or may not be doing some travelling prior to that. So I dunno which direction I’ll be coming from as of right now. But it’ll either be from PA/Bay Area CA/WY… I’m looking for a safe (non-toxicated) ride. I can’t help with driving. But can chip in on gas.

im from a suburb outside of baltimore and also am trying to travel this summer-I dont do drugs/drink and Id mos def be into networking with someone-I dont have a car and havent hitched much though that was my plan this summer-hit me up

Dang, convergence is running at the same time as the Last HOPE (Hackers of Planet Earth) convention. I was hoping it was a week or so before so I could catch out to NYC with someone from it.

Wish I had sent that in sooner before the days were picked.

You don’t need to RSVP, but look at it from the organizers’ point of view:

1. It helps if they know how many people to expect
2. It helps if people volunteer to take on roles, provide resources, etc. in advance!
